My business name "A Garden Of Sorts" represents the idea that we are less like machines and more like gardens, always needing different things on different days.
Gardens encourage growth, contemplation, and expansion
..and that's what creativity has always felt like to me.
Documenting ALL of life and capturing it's ever changing moments has always proved to be valuable.

My Philosophy
My early years were spent in a country-ish town called Jacksonville Maryland, where groundhogs and blue jays were the first subjects in my photos. My love for the natural world has always bled heavily into my photographic work. It's in the elements that we are meant to be seen and interacted with.
I've always loved the way taking photographs can preserve a special moment of time in the present as it inevitably passes. Behind the lense, I create visual imagery that reflects the one of a kind, innate beauty in us, in our creations, and in the ephemeral moments .
My goal is to elevate your business by telling it's visual story or preserve your unique life narratives without them getting lost in a sea of memories.
